Michael a.M. davies — Senior Partner

Michael A.M. Davies is Senior Partner of Endeavour Partners. He founded the firm in 2003 to fill the need for strategy consulting explicitly for mobile and digital business and technology decisions. Since Endeavour Partners’ founding, Michael has helped device manufacturers, service providers, and infrastructure providers make strategic decisions and drive innovation. He also works with financial investors and executives in sectors that are increasingly impacted by mobile and digital technology, including retail, healthcare, media, and transportation.

Michael has deep business and technology expertise in mobile and digital domains. He is an expert in technology and business ecosystems, competition and collaboration, and the management of innovation.

Prior to founding Endeavour Partners, Michael held executive and strategic advisory roles with leading firms including Boston Consulting Group, BellSouth International, Braxton Associates, GeoPartners Research and Mars Electronics.

He has also been an entrepreneur, including pioneering the first global system for a mobile communication business outside Europe and the first personal digital assistant with digital connectivity (a predecessor to the modern smartphone).

In addition to his role at Endeavour Partners, Michael is a Senior Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Guest Lecturer at the London Business School. He holds an MBA from London Business School, and Masters degrees in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and the University of Durham.

Sunny ahn — partner

Sunny Ahn is a Partner at Endeavour Partners. He has worked extensively with technology, media and telecommunication (TMT) service providers, device manufacturers, energy, insurance, logistics and healthcare organizations in the US, Europe and Asia. The engagements he has led focus on business models, innovation, transformation strategy, business ecosystem, customer discovery, and new product development.  He has a deep understanding of consumer and enterprise purchasing behavior.

He has worked directly with Ofcom in the development of wireless directory and connectivity solutions in the UK telecommunication market as well as on public interest (healthcare, education, security, accessibility) matters involving the US International Trade Commission (ITC).  As an industry expert, Sunny has testified in front of the United States House of Representatives, Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet on the topic of private connectivity and directory services.

Sunny has been a successful entrepreneur, strategic adviser, executive and angel investor throughout his career. Prior to joining Endeavour Partners, Sunny was a Founder and CEO of Context Connect, a secure connectivity and transactions provider, where its assets were sold to Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.  He has also worked in senior consulting positions at Ernst & Young and GeoPartners Research, in key business development roles at SAS and as a software developer for the Massachusetts General Hospital.  Sunny holds three US patents in the area of private connectivity, secure transactions and mobile directory services and sits on a number of Boards including the Meeduck Educational FoundationSilverthreadHelp Women Heal and the Cambridge Meridian Group.

Sunny has held teaching and research positions at MIT, Harvard University and Yonsei University (Korea) on entrepreneurship, transformation strategy, sustainability and IP strategy. He is also a mentor for the National Science Foundation – NSF I-Corp program and the Korea Innovation Center (KIC).  He holds a Masters and Bachelors degree from Harvard University.

gene dolgin — principal

Gene Dolgin is a Principal at Endeavour Partners, where he focuses on the impact of 5G and IoT on technology and non-technology businesses, wireless networks and infrastructure, technology-driven innovation, and due diligence for investors. He has led several projects for the firm including those examining the evolution and growth of wireless infrastructure, heterogeneous networks, and Wi-Fi, and the potential competitive offerings that infrastructure owners, carriers, and others should be considering.

Previously, Gene was a venture capitalist at Israel Cleantech Ventures, a cleantech focused early stage venture fund, where he sourced, analyzed and helped invest in a number of clean technology startups.

Gene holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor’s Degree, with Honors, from The Ohio State University.

 

Nitzan Schwertner — Manager

Nitzan Schwertner is a Manager at Endeavour Partners, where she focuses on client projects in the mobile and telecommunications domains. Since joining the firm she has contributed to business strategy and IP litigation of leading mobile device manufacturers.

In addition to her engineering expertise, Nitzan has extensive experience in customer relationship management and product development. Prior to joining Endeavour Partners, Nitzan worked as product applications engineer on MEMS and Sensor Technologies for Analog Devices. There she managed customer relationships and assisted in the development and positioning of new products through identifying market needs and assessing competitive offerings. Prior to Analog Devices, Nitzan was a design engineer at Linear Technology Corporate where she performed circuit design and led product release cycles.

Nitzan has a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

 

 

Henri Bernstein — Chief Financial Officer

Henri Bernstein is the Chief Financial Officer at Endeavour Partners. She has worked in the accounting industry for over 20 years and spent the last 15 specializing in finance and cash-flow management for start-ups. Prior to joining Endeavour Partners in 2011, Henri worked for Executone Telecom and the Fortune 500 American Continental. She also co-founded EquuSys, an equine motion monitoring startup, where she acted as CFO and led the company's customer service department.
